2025 ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award for our co-president Carmen Sandi!

Our co-president Carmen Sandi is the recipient of the 2025 ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award,in recognition of her impressive work in the understanding of the neurobiological mechanisms of stress and anxiety and their impacts on brain and behaviour.

She will receive the award during the 38th ECNP Congress on 11-14 October 2025 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The award is accompanied by an invitation to present the Plenary Lecture ‘Mitochondria in brain function and mental health‘ at the Congress, which is scheduled for Monday 13 October at 10.15 -11.00 am.
