New research tackles stress and aggression with virtual reality

The CONTEXT project from the Donders Institute, Radboud University and Radboudumc (NL) has been awarded nearly €7 million from the National Science Agenda (NWA) for an ambitious project to reduce stress and aggression among police officers and at-risk youth. Smartwatches and VR will teach early stress detection and emotion regulation, preventing conflict before it escalates.

Two members of our Steering Committee, Profs. Karin Roelofs and Erno Hermans, will be deeply involved in this project with project lead Dr. Floris Klumpers.
